Sometimes it’s hard to open up our mouths and voice the words, “God, you are good”. We can know it and believe it, yet still struggle to find it’s truth in certain circumstances in our lives. When we struggle to see God’s goodness in any situation, we can close our eyes and take a breath…(go ahead, give it a try)
Yes, that right there, that was a gift. And if God saw it fit to give you that breath, he gave it so you could praise his name. When we offer up a sacrifice of praise to the One who made the greatest sacrifice of all, our focus shifts from our problems to our Provider. When we can’t see God’s hand, we can always trust his heart. When our heart is broken, we know His promises never will be.
“I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from, my help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth” psalm 121:1-2
